Johtokuntaan on valittu Mika Väisänen (pj), Marko Kettunen (sihteeri), Jan Östberg (rahastonhoitaja), Lasse Tammenlahti, Hannu Björni, Kari Holm ja Petri Majaniemi.

Kevään klubi-illat pidetään jälleen TIISTAI-ILTAISIN alkaen tammikuun 22. päivänä kello 18.00, paikkana Hietasaarenkatu 11. Seuraavat päivät ovat 5.2, 19.2, 4.3, 18.3, 1.4, 15.4 ja 29.4. Malliskuun 4. päivänä sidontaillan teemana on Säläisjärven ottiperhot. Maaliskuun 18. päivä teemaillan tulee pitämään Mara Laukkanen. Laukkasen pitämän teemaillan aihe ilmoitetaan myöhemmin.

Tällä kertaa kevätreissu kohdistuu Huopanan koskille. Paikka on varattuna pelkästään seuralle ajaksi 11.7.2008 – 13.7.2008. Kalastus alkaa perjantaina 11.7 klo 18.00 ja päättyy sunnuntaina 13.7 klo 18.00. Reissuun sisältyy majoitus ”Niska talossa”. Ilmoittautumiset puheenjohtajalle tai sihteerille 15.6 mennessä.

Kevätreissuun saa alennusta siivousaktiivisuuden mukaan. Alennuksen suuruutta hallitus ei ole vielä päättänyt, mutta se selvinnee reissuun mennessä.

Kevät kaudella järjestetään seuran jäsenten välinen perhokalastuskilpailu Jurvan Säläisjärvellä. Kilpailu tullaan järjestämään toukokuun aikana ja tarkempi päivämäärä ilmoitetaan myöhemmin. Kilpailussa ei ole osallistumismaksua, mutta jokainen osallistuja joutuu lunastamaan kalastuluvan Säläisjärvelle.
